Splatana Stamper Nouveau
The Splatana with the longest projectile range, able to send its 70-damage charged slash from far away. The charged slash → horizontal slash "cross-slash" and combos with Burst Bomb let it splat quickly, and it has very high object damage. On the other hand, its slow projectiles and heavy handling mean it takes practice to land hits and manage spacing, so it's a weapon for advanced players.

Strengths
- Long projectile range; the charged slash reaches almost as far as the Jet Squelcher, outranging many mid-range weapons
- Land a 70-damage charged slash and you can finish right away with one horizontal slash or a Burst Bomb blast
- A point-blank charged slash blade hit splats in one hit, and you lunge forward as you slash
- Very high object damage, so it quickly breaks Splash Walls, Wave Breakers, Big Bubblers, Booyah Bombs and Crab Tanks
- You can also hug the bottom of a ledge and wait for enemies to come to you
Watch out for
- Slow projectiles; you need to lead your shots on far-away enemies, which makes them hard to land
- Heavy charging and swinging with a slowish TTK, so it's not great in fights once you've been spotted
- Shots fly straight, so you need a clear line of fire; enemies hiding behind pillars or cover are out of reach
- Ink-heavy, and horizontal slash paint is patchy, so it's bad at making quick footing
- Struggles against Chargers that outrange it, Blasters and Sloshers whose area attacks flush you out from under ledges, and Splash Wall users
Tips
- Play from just behind your frontline, and "place" charged slashes on enemies fighting your teammates to chip them
- When a charged slash lands, finish immediately with a horizontal slash or a Burst Bomb
- When you pick a close-range fight yourself, take away the enemy's footing with a Burst Bomb first, then land the charged slash
- Holding the stick forward during a charged slash makes you lunge automatically, so jump while charging until you're used to it. Mixing in squid form makes back-to-back slashes faster
