This type splats from a little further back, firing fast and often to give teammates' pushes a kick. Rather than waiting, it keeps shooting in step with the team to create openings. Like a pistol shrimp snapping out shots, its signature is quick firepower from behind the front line.

Strengths

  • Backs up teammates' pushes with quick fire from behind
  • Never wastes a splat and moves up with the team right away
  • Shoots often, so the pressure never lets up

Watch out for

  • Can drift too far forward and lose its best range. Shooting from a step back is its strength
  • Can get so into shooting that someone sneaks up close. Look around now and then

Quick tip

Right as your teammates charge in, pick off opponents from behind. Shooting the same target as them swings the fight fast.
