Heavy Edit Splatling
A mobile Splatling whose fire rate jumps way up only when it's fully charged. It's ink-efficient and builds specials fast, and the base version usually pushes forward with the team while buffing everyone with Tacticooler. Its range is shorter than other Splatlings, and the full charge takes a while, so keep that in mind.

Strengths
- The fully charged fire rate is extremely fast, so it can shred enemies at close to mid range in a hurry
- Run speed while charging and firing is fast, and it scales well with gear, so it's great at strafing and dodging shots
- Good ink efficiency and a high special charge rate
- Really good at pinning down weapons with shorter range than yours
Watch out for
- Its range is on the short side for a Splatling, so Chargers and long-range Splatlings give it trouble
- The full charge takes a long time, and if you only ever fire partial charges it ends up as a worse version of other Splatlings
- Damage per shot is lowish, so shots-to-kill easily goes up at max range or with arcing shots
- It paints little under your feet, so you get stuck in enemy ink easily. Rollers and Blasters waiting below ledges are also a pain
Tips
- When you have time, get the full charge and force fights with that fast full-charge stream
- Only fight back with partial charges when you're short on time, like when someone closes in or you want to chase
- If you just want to paint, fire right before a full charge. You'll shoot for longer and cover more ground
- Drop your Tacticooler on a path or perch closer to your side where teammates can grab it easily

A support-leaning kit: Curling Bombs make paths to move and escape, and Tacticooler boosts run speed and more for you and your team so everyone can push up together.Recent changes
