Tri-Slosher Nouveau
A short-range-leaning Slosher that quickly flings a wide, horizontal spread of ink in front of you. Its wide hit area lands even with sloppy aim, and it's strong in close fights across ledges and small cover. On the other hand, its TTK is quite slow for a short-range weapon, so your game plan depends on getting the first hit by lurking or catching enemies off guard.

Strengths
- Each swing covers a wide horizontal area, so it's easy to hit even if you're not confident in your aim
- Swings faster and more often than the Slosher, and it's light and mobile
- Attacks over bumps and small obstacles, making it easy to set up spots where enemy shots are blocked but yours get through
- No damage drop even when hitting with the base of the ink, making enemies behind walls or below ledges easy to deal with
- From high ground it paints a wide area below, and camping on top of the zone is a real headache for opponents
Watch out for
- TTK is quite slow even among short-range weapons, so you're unlikely to win if they get the first hit
- Short range: when enemies who outrange you keep their distance, you can't touch them
- Every swing leaves an opening, so long-range weapons easily pick you off in flat fights or while painting near the enemy base
- The Sloshing Machine beats it in both range and hit area, so head-on fights against it are especially rough
- Its short range makes attacking tall high ground from below difficult
Tips
- Don't fight head-on. Get the first hit by ambushing while lurking, or by covering teammates and hitting their attackers from the side or behind
- In a fight, strafe side to side to dodge their shots while landing yours. Jump shots cut your range, so mostly shoot while walking
- For enemies clinging to walls, aim up and drop the ink blob on them
- After splatting or driving off an enemy, quickly paint your footing. But painting flat areas near the enemy base on your own is risky
