Tentatek Splattershot
An easy-to-handle, do-it-all weapon that's the "baseline" for shooters. It pairs a three-shot kill with above-average paint and ink efficiency, so it works for beginners learning the game and as a main for skilled players. Its trump card changes by kit: Trizooka, Triple Inkstrike, or Kraken Royale.

Strengths
- Short TTK, so it's strong in close-range fights
- Well-balanced paint, fire rate, and ink efficiency, so there's always something useful to do in any mode
- Low spread on your first shots, so it's easy to hit what you aim at
- Handles jobs besides splatting too, like painting the zone or popping the Rainmaker's shield
Watch out for
- Range is on the short side, so it's hard to do anything when mid- to long-range weapons keep their distance
- No standout strengths, so it tends to lose when specialized weapons force their favorite range on you
- Head-on fights against the .52 Gal, which fights at the same range, usually go badly
- The base version's sub and special don't have instant impact, so fights rely almost entirely on the main
Tips
- While you're not confident in fights, stay a step behind the front line and prioritize painting and building special
- Suction Bomb takes a while to explode, so throw it before the fight to limit the enemy's movement
- Paint your feet before fighting, and use swimming to adjust your spacing and reset your spread before firing
- This weapon's strength is filling whatever role your team is missing (splats, painting, or objectives)
